round and round we go [kasdeya/ghosty]

Sitting down, wrapping her fluffy tail around her front paws, Kasdeya`s bi colored eyes were locked onto the dog. This dog may seem weak, but he could be a major threat towards Kasdeya. A large smirk appeared on the European`s wolf muzzle as she watched the wolf cross onto what was now her lands.
Remaining still, Kasdeya growled lowly.

« You better get out of my land if you don`t want to get your throat rip open, Loner. » Kasdeya snapped warning the male. « And I won`t repeat this twice so think well. » Kasdeya continued harshly.

She stood on her paws, giving the male the dead glare. Claws digging into the snow as the European became slightly impatient for some reasons. There was something about this dog that made her feel uncomfortable...weak too somehow, but Kasdeya refused to let herself tracked down by a dog.

« greetings, fae. how's hunting in these parts? » The male spoke.

Kasdeya raised an eyebrow. How could she possibly reply to this question if she didn`t know herself.  Bitting her bottom lip hard, the European she wolf shrugged.

« How could I possibly know, I`m not a great hunter I must say, so chances that I do hunt are quite low. » Kasdeya snarled. She wasn`t as pissed off as she was a few seconds ago for some reasons.

« But I must admit that rabbit you`ve just hunter was rather a nice one. You`re one talented hunter. » Which was true, the male was a talented hunter as Kasdeya saw.

he felt his tail begin to sway at the beige fae's snapped response, the crow feathers adorned on his tail beginning to wave like a pitch black banner in wind. the fae didn't seem particularly lethal as he sized her up with a long stare, despite her harsh verbal abuse. yet he refused to be too risky with his return of words, furrowing his brows and simply dipping his head after she finished her first string of speech. a gesture of respect would most likely stop her from 'ripping out his throat'.

allowing his one black wing to droop slightly like an extra appendage, he narrowed his eyes at the fae. since she hadn't assumed any dominant body signals, ie the lift of the tail, he automatically took to it that she was a subordinate. in which case, he wouldn't budge just yet. she seemed highly irritable, snapping at him at sight instead of greeting him formally, and he would have time to mess with her.

fae, i don't belong to any pack so i don't belong to the rules. he responded firmly, her warning words completely flying over his head. i personally believe that loners should be allowed to anywhere they please. but no one cares about that. he added the last sentence somewhat cheerfully, only to weird the fae out. his heart really ached and he grinned. it felt good to hold conversation with another after so long. it was awful being alone for so long... but he was going to join a pack, at least, not yet.

gazidan lowered onto his fluffy haunches, making it a point that he was now staying here as she responded to his previous question of hunting. he was slightly appalled that she didn't know how to hunt. i thought it was instinctive. he barely took notice to her harsh tone, but was quite surprised by her compliment due to her previous hostility. with a shrug, he gave a slight smile. thanks. i'm gazidan, by the way. she probably didn't care, but he wouldn't listen long enough for her to say that. it was a random introduction, yes, but it seemed right. oh, and i can help you with your hunting problem... teach you the basics and stuff. he offered. sure, he just met this fae, but why not show her how to do things while he was here? perhaps she would be friendlier then.

It was early in the day and the wind was blowing harder than expected. Ghost had left an old pack for he alphas were harsh as could be, but that didn't change who he was... It was really because kas had left, he had to find her he missed her anger. So on he traveled walking around, with each step his paws expanded to cover more ground.

Ghost's icy blue eyes pierced the fog that had covered the field he was in"Just great." He said and sighed, now he got to weak blind, what filled his ears next was confusing, arguing maybe. Ghost' sears perked and he followed the sound and stopped at the hill and peered through the grass to see a familiar female.. It was kas, and he could feel his heart began racing. Yet there was a male yelling at her so he took action.

"Excuse me for meddling in business that isn't mine, but if you continue to speak to her like that I'm going to knock your teeth down your throat angel." He barked and glanced back knowing kas would be pissed, but he had her back even if she didn't need it.

deep, amber optics stared at the beige fae, patiently awaiting her response to his blunt generosity and her name. it was always polite to state your title and name before you questioned one of their's, and it was quite obvious what his title was: loner gazidan. and his title worked miracles. as she introduce her name - but had yet to tell her title - gazidan felt his faint smile turn into a real one. one ebon aud twitched and he blinked at her, dipping his head. it's a pleasure to meet you, kasdeya, it truly is. what a pretty name! he added inwardly with a touch of pleasure. despite her hostile and provoked personality, of which he was currently and constantly glimpsing every now and then, he enjoyed her company. how one loner, not to be loner in fact, found joy in the most simple and random conversations. she was supposed to be chasing him off, but that wouldn't work now.

amber optics matching her bi-colored optics, he awaited her next response. it actually surprised him a bit. her tone didn't sound as harsh and his tail begin to sway, the crow feathers tied around the inky tip of it waving. don't say that! he exclaimed encouragingly, sounding quite friendly. it was strange how he made 'friends' with strangers. everyone can learn it. you have a nose, do you? you have ears, do you? he was grinning by now. see? you're already ready to-

his heartening speech was interrupted by a growl and he angled his auds at  the sound, head following. he instantly frowned at the unnecessary display of aggression showcased before him, but his voice was calm, dripping like honey. must i really abandon my calm and enthusiastic manner of speech because you'll kill me for it? would you rather i snarl at her? or would yowling do? he replied calmly, a smile still plastered to his features. he gave a falsely exasperated sigh and lazily lifted his only wing. and must you see the wing to know that i am not an angel? he laughed. it is a pleasure to meet you too, ghost. cool eyes... i feel so plain. he finished. while he was generally chill, he could be lethal, especially when someone decided to bring up the touchy subject of his wing. hopefully his good-natured attitude while chatting with the stranger known as 'ghost' wouldn't leave a sour patch.

Ghost became confused, he thought this male had been yelling at kas. Ghost didn't know how to feel only weird"Forgive me it's just Kas is a long time friend of mine and I feel protective of her, I'm sorry for snapping. I thought I heard yelling over here so I instantly went on the defensive. I believe my actions were jus and everyone makes mistakes." He said and sat beside Kas, lowering his ears. "I'm sorry I know you can defend yourself, I don't know what came over me." He said his icy blue eyes staring at the snow, he felt a pang of jealousy build in his chest and slipped into a deep thought


Hopefully this won't diminish the friendship he had built with kas, he wanted that to last as long as possible.

The European she wolf raised an eyebrow, surprised by the dog`s response. Obviously him saying it was a pleasure to meet her, seemed rather impossible. Thinking about the past, Kasdeya noticed that it was most likely to be a first. « Ah...I highly doubt that. » Kasdeya snarled before a smirk appeared on the edge of her muzzle. Of coure it would have been even more polite to reply with Ìt`s a pleasure to meet you as well` but this just wouldn`t be the truth. Kasdeya has never found pleasure into meeting someone, so why would she enjoy the dog`s company?

Bi colored eyes drifted from Ghost to Gazidan, as the male exclaimed something. It was rather unexpected and someone the dog was being a little too positive about things. Mentiong baout everyone being able to learn Kasdeya sighed. «  I`m not like the rest. » She snarled, her eyes fixed to the white snowy ground. « I do assume I have a nose and ears, yet hunting has never been my strong suit nor will it ever be. Some have weaknesses, weaknesses that just can`t go away. » Kasdeya said shooking her head discouraged.

Kasdeya felt slightly annoyed as the dog began speaking to the silver pelted male. « Enough now. » Kasdeya muttered. She didn`t want to deal with any drama at the moment especially since this was what she had been dealing with her whole life time. The silver pelted male with blue piercing eyes seem to be repeating to word sorry too often, in Kasdeya`s opinion. « Quit whining about it. » Kasdeya snapped, as surpringly Ghost sat beside her apologizing. « It`s alright, forget it. » The she wolf said, rolling her eyes feeling a little irritated.

why must she be so aggressive? he thought, amber optics drifting to kasdeya as she doubted that he enjoyed her company. by now, gazidan had already considered that she was a hard-hearted wolf, but that doesn't mean he had to enjoy her harsh tendencies. he had been betrayed and battered in his life, but he was still the calm canine he was born as. he wasn't exactly exasperated with the fae - she should know, all he found was amusement in her mannerism - but the fact that she was so hard on herself and her company had begun to strike him. he gave his brown fur a shake as a stiff breeze whipped past, allowing the cold to creep into his fur. tail curling around his slim frame, he didn't move as ghost moved toward kasdeya and let his guard drop as the brute apologized.

no worries, my friend. he murmured good-naturedly, dipping his head respectfully to the brute. he had previously assumed that the two knew each other, and ghost's words strengthened his guess. despite this, the way that the beige fae snapped at him made him doubt the strength of their friendship. or she was just aggressive to anyone, even if they were pals. he went with the second option. now on what he would define good terms with both wolves - or just ghost - he grinned and turned to the silver brute. would you like to join us on this hunting lesson? he questioned. he stood up and shook the snow from his pelt. after all, now would be the best of any time to begin.

Ghost sighed as this make talked to kas "You really can't see you're annoying her can you." He asked and took a step forward, not knowing what else to do. Ghosts blue eyes surged with a jealousy. Ghost began wondering if he was doing the right thing "The lady said no to hunting so why are you trying to get her to do something she's not comfortable with?" He asked baring his teeth. He couldn't help it he was a demon so he had a bad attitude

The brown and beige pelted she wolf took a deep breath before sighing, soon finding herself thinking too much. Kasdeya had been looking at the sky often lately, often praying for her father and brother to go in search of her. Of course they would have no reasons to miss her presence but still, they were the only three left and if only they could be reunited starting all over again. Second chances is what Kasdeya doesn`t believe in, knowing that it will end wrong anyways, but she was willing to try when it came to family. If only they would want the same as her...if only.

Kasdeya escaped her thoughts once her attention was caught by the dog. He had asked if Ghost was willing to join them for the hunting lesson. Kasdeya`s eyes grew large. HIM! She thought. Gazidan was the first to know about her hunting skills being terrible, but Ghost would notice and most likely laugh at her. Why do males always have to plan the most embarrassing things! Kasdeya thought, feeling somehow nervous suddenly. « I...uhm I think I`ll just be watching...you know? » Kasdeya offered nodding at Gazidan for some unknown reasons. There was no way that the European she wolf would go on a hunting lesson knowing she would fail miserably.

Kasdeya`s bi colored eyes landed on Ghost, the silver pelted with blue piercing eyes. She hoped the male would refuse to participate as well, so they could simply move on subjects. `Come on Ghost...say no...no...no!`Kasdeya thought as she bit her bottom lip, awaiting his words to come out of his mouth impatiently. To her surprise, Ghost took her side being protective of her. Why? She thought as she gave Ghost a confusing look. Ghost was right in a way. She was annoyed by the dog, but than Kasdeya gets annoyed by everyone very easily so it shouldn`t be a surprise. Remaining silent, Kasdeya`s bi colored eyes drifted from Ghost to Gazidan.

so much for being on generally good terms. as the silver pelted brute stepped forward, fangs bared and obviously annoyed, gazidan stood up, challenging the male in size. he didn't want to make the brute more aggressive so he took a cautious step back, amber optics narrowing. i don't recall her declining my offer. he murmured, holding his guard and tucking his one black wing close in case the brute decided to lunge. his gaze drifted to kasdeya. he didn't expect any back up. he didn't recieve any. eyes now locked on the aggressive brute, he sat back down firmly, his body language stating he didn't want a fight but was ready to defend himself if neccesary. gazidan's maw twisted wryly at his next thought. why not make this brute angrier? he was obviously asking for gazidan's spiteful 'humor'.

assuming the act of an innocent, his amber eyes widenned in false disbelief and he lowered his muzzle so that only his sweet, innocent eyes were visible against the mask of obsidian that was his face. me? annoying her? that's a nasty rumor. he glanced at kasdeya, eyes riddled with amusement. i had thought she enjoyed my company. am i really annoying you? he asked, now facing the fae entirely but lifting his wing slightly in case the brute were to lunge. his eyes were almost sincere. is it because of my species? or is it because i am still on your lands? he added inwardly, though pondering at the same time why he was annoying her. possibly because he wasn't taking their threats seriously. or he just held an annoying air around him, in which case, he should dislike himself. he doesn't like annoying wolves.

ready to continue his sarcastic and innocent act, he stopped himself. kasdeya didn't like the way he had sarcastically responded to ghost last time, snapping at the brute himself afterwards, and he wouldn't want to loose company. but the conversation was definitely going downhill, he couldn't ignore that. and his highly frustrating jibes weren't making it any better. clearing his throat, he simply blinked, all previous amusement in his eyes gone. he didn't apologize however, for he glanced from ghost to kasdeya, though his eyes were locked on ghost. he left it up to them to continue the conversation, for he wasn't going to say anymore. he wasn't going to bring up the hunting lesson either, since it basically wasn't going to be a lesson if she just sat and watch. of course, he would've said this himself, but no need to make both wolves even madder at him.

Ghost felt an anger rising in him that he had never felt, was this male serious, or was he just that stupid? "Clearly she said no to the offer twice!" He growled his icy blue eyes narrowing, he looked that sarcastic bastard in his eyes" I dislike you because you have a damn wing that I wanna rip off your back side then toss your corpse into a mud hole!" He growled and could feel a horrible feeling in his gut he was livid. "You're an angel in demon lands and as a scout of this territory I would like nothing more than to kill you, the only thing stopping me is kas." He barked and turned around letting out a jagged breath as he calmed down, his hate for angel far surpassed that of anyone's. "Now if Kas joins you angel I'm tagging along because I refuse to trust you and your holy goodness!" He growled and sat down again frustrated.

Standing up on her paws, bared teeth as Kasdeya glared at both males. Two childish wolves stood near her, making drama over nothing. Kasdeya knew she wasn`t any better at times, but these two had past the limit. It was enough. Hoping the two would stop with their ridiculous show, but the situation seem to be falling down. Anger rushing through the she wolf, making her angrier. By the time Gazidan had spoke to her, Kasdeya`s claws digged into the snow, trying as hard to remain calm. Kasdeya wasn`t being quite patient at the moment, but she had asked to stop and both went on. If they weren`t going to stop, well Kasdeya wouldn`t hesitate to rip both throats open.

« You`re both annoying. » Kasdeya replied, harshly. « You should`ve known by now that I have trouble standing everyone. Not just you, so don`t go on thinking it`s because of your species, I could care less. » Kasdeya muttered out, rolling her eyes. She was clearly in a terrible mood, but she had managed calming down a bit. If the dog actually believed she enjoyed his company...he was insane. She didn`t really enjoy his company, it was more to take up some of her free time.

Kasdeya`s ears perked as her attention was caught by Ghost, the silver pelted wolf. « Shut your trap! Both of you! » Kasdeya blurted out, feeling unable to stand the both of them. « Can`t you see you two are being rather very childish. » Kasdeya growled, glancing at both, angrily. At Ghost`s last comment Kasdeya gave him a confusing look. « What are you? My body guard or something? » She questioned, shooking her head in disbelief.

amber optics glinting, gazidan began to laugh like a psychopathic murderer fool, chest heaving and legs trembling. the spiteful action was most definitely directed toward the raging ghosty, for his eyes were locked on the brute. laughing fading like mist, he took a shaky breath, regaining his cool, and simply raised a brow as the silver wolf lost his temper. what? did anyone have a sense of humor? he would've guessed no, sense the lands were currently infested with irritable demons. besides, kasdeya didn't exactly decline his offer - just showed discouragement. he could've easily picked her back up and helped - but it seemed ghost didn't have enough faith in her hunting skills, thus stepping in and snapping. it depends on how you see it, and gazidan sometimes enjoyed lies more than the truth.

sharp tongue ready to fire, gazidan began to throw back his sarcastic remarks. why would one even bother to insult him and rage in front of him? his response would be even more anger for everyone. wouldn't that be contradicting your rank? leave the killing to the warriors, scout. he murmured lazily, grinning and chuckling as he didn't budge, despite the threats. and i was an angel. clearly, i escaped the process of getting my wings cut off. didn't you learn this stuff as a pup? he drawled, his tone bored. he twisted his head and snapped at a fly buzzing around. his rabbit that he had hunted was decaying incredibly fast considering the weather. he kicked his back legs, spreading snow over the rabbit. he could be chased out any minute now but he would be able to come back later and get the refrigerator cold rabbit. auds perking back to ghost, he blinked and chuckled. trust me, scout, i should be the one doing the trusting. it sounds awfully stupid not to trust the one with the angelic goodness - not that i have any of that. he muttered.

now officially exasperated, he took a step back, looking ready to leave. he had just offered to hunt and now he was getting hated on for no reason. sure, his sarcasm leaves a dent in many of his relationships, but he only went ballistic when the brute decided to go. his wing twitched irritably and he glared at both wolves. this is what happens to generosity in these hell-ridden lands, you ungrateful- he snapped and stopped, eyes widening and he shook his head. they could've been hunting right now, but nope. he wasn't going to be treated like this. the fur along his spine beginning to bristle, he released an frustrated growl and lowered his muzzle. fae, if you would like me to leave and postpone this hunting lesson, just say so. since your 'bodyguard' can't stand me helping you with your weaknesses and you probably cant stand it either.. i won't stay for the throat ripping. he growled, though his growl wasn't exactly hostile, just irritated.

Ghost couldn't believe he was getting yelled at by kas, he calmed down a lot,but was still ticked off. His blue eyes glanced at Kas then back at the male"once an angel always an angel until you lose that wing." He said calmly, then tilted his head "Well I have yet to meet a guard so when I do I'll let down mine and if you have a problem with someone tagging along then you definitely can't be trusted." Ghost looked at Kas "Technically yes maam I am your guard, the whole pack is your guard, our goal is to defend you." He said and sat back down, well that was the last time he gave his opinion, at now he knows his leader wouldn't side with him, Ghost waited and curled his tail. "Also I do not care about the dewinging process the problem is you started out as an angel." He said with a small growl. The simple fact was he was staying near kas.

Bi colored eyes laid upon the dog. She actually wanted to do this hunting lesson, but with Ghost, it`ll be impossible. Ghost and Gazidan clearly weren`t friends and there was nothing that would change, Kasdeya understood that. If they remained together for much longer, a fight may go on...

Glaring at Ghost, Kasdeya shook her head. « Deep inside he isn`t an angel. » Kasdeya muttered out, her eyes drifting back to Gazidan. A one winged dog, who had a dark personality in the inside, but on the outside...it was different. « Stop referring him as an angel. » Kasdeya growled lowly.

« Don`t leave... » Kasdeya pleaded. It wasn`t a thing the European was used to do, pleading people to stay, it never happened before, but the presence of the dog wasn`t that bad unlike many other she had met. « I kind off do enjoy your presence and starting the hunting lesson wouldn`t be such a terrible idea... » Kasdeya admitted shrugging. « Ghost isn`t my bodyguard. No one is, if I need to defend myself, I can do it all alone. » Kasdeya snarled.

« He`s more trustworthy than you Ghost! » Kasdeya growled. She was angry. Angry that the silver pelted male had continued his stupid acting. She had asked to stop, yet Ghost went on. What was his problem? She had no clue but she had enough of him for the day. « It`s better if you leave. » Kasdeya told Ghost, unable to look at him in the eyes. « I don`t think these lands is where you belong, clearly you`ve just proven me that. » Kasdeya spoke, calmly.

the conversation was strongly vexing gazidan and his amber optics narrowed as he glared daggers at the pale furred brute. was this brute mad or just retarded? repeating the same things, of which ghost was doing in gazidan's book, didn't exactly count as an appropriate argument, but it nonetheless didn't cease to spite him. there was no such thing as once an angel always an angel. you are not an angel once you were planned to have your wings taken away. horrid memories fogged gazidan's thoughts and he shook his cranium. i'd rather have one wing than go through the extra pain of taking the other one... he thought.

lifting his muzzle, he took yet another step back, about to bolt away with the rabbit, when his ears perked to kasdeya's comment. he felt his tail wag. finally, someone who understood. you are born an angel, but that doesn't mean you have to act like one. he managed a slight smile in the tense moment and took a step forward as the fae pleaded. as she spoke he grinned, his tail thrashing. he knew she enjoyed his presence! it was so obvious not really. he blinked as she claimed that ghost wasn't her bodyguard and then as she turned on the silver brute, possibly as unrelenting as the wind. tail wounding over his flank, he didn't utter a word, deciding not to interfere with speech at the moment.

Ghost could do nothing but chuckle"I try to do my job and get yelled at." He said and shook his head, he thought kas was his friend but clearly she was a lot more evil. "So the demons love angels now huh is that it?" He asked and snarled glancing at the male. He couldn't believe a wolf with a wing was aloud on the territory of demons"If you were a true demon angel you'd remove that wing who cares about pain. You're weak!" He growled and laughed walking off, he hated the ending if this for he wanted to be friends with kas but this angel tore that to pieces.

Kasdeya closed her eyes for a short moment, thinking hard and at the same time running away from the drama going on. It didn`t last long though. Kasdeya found herself, opening her eyes again after a few seconds. Kasdeya`s eyes were laid upon the dog with one wing. She didn`t mind his wing, he had lost his other, meaning he could resist to pain. He was a demon like her and not angel. She understood that, but not Ghost. Was it because he was jealous of his wing...? It could be who knew.

Kasdeya took a moment to think at the words spoken by Ghost. Since a while now, it had been Angel against Demons. Two creatures completely different hating each other more than anything. Kasdeya couldn`t accept an angel it was obvious and Gazidan was not an angel. What did Ghost did not understand.

"Just leave already." Kasdeya muttered out as she watched Ghost dissapeared from her sight.

his eyes were widened in disbelief as the silver brute disappeared from sight. he could scarcely fathom what had happened, though he was a first hand witness of it, and his gut tugged guiltily. perhaps he should've just left. then the wolf wouldn't be without a home. after all, ghost was a demon and there were only two packs controlling the lands from what gazidan had heard. and starlit wasn't for demons. he closed his eyes and thought about everything that had just happened - his way of processing things. he thought about ghost's last words and snorted audibly, opening his eyes. they were cold, unrelenting, and he lowered his muzzle, a low growl breaking the solemn silence left in ghost's wake. is it that hard to understand? he thought with the shake of his head once more. he was not an angel, and he knew it ever since he had left his mother to meet his father. his claws drove into the snow and he stopped himself from snarling out loud as if he was fighting enemies he could only see. swallowing down frustration, he twitched his only wing and lifted his muzzle again, lowering onto his haunches and allowing the solemn silence to continue.

after a while, he stood again, shaking snow from his pelt. he glanced at kasdeya. what was she thinking? he wondered. in all honesty, he was quite taken back by her defending of him and wondered if she was grieving the lost pack member. he had been under the assumption they were long time friends, so it must've been hard for her to let him go. his tail wound around his flank and he swallowed an apologetic whine, unwilling to be taken as weak but wanting to let her know he was sorry for the trouble he had caused. after all, gazidan was a loner, for he didn't belong to a pack. and he probably won't ever if one wolf found it too hard to understand he was not an angel due to his wing, marking out the inferno moon pack. and the starlit shadows definitely won't accept him once they see his one wing. it twitched once more and he glanced at it. the cold must be affecting it. tucking it close, he rested his gaze on kasdeya once more. perhaps he should gnaw off the wing.. he would bleed out. leaving his thoughts unspoken, he opened his jaw to apologize but no words came out. he couldn't apologize, even though it may have been indirectly his fault or his whole fault. he simply sighed, willing kasdeya to break the silence with speech.

deathly silence warped around the two like fog, almost till the point where gazidan felt his fur lift uncomfortably. pushing all thoughts to the back of his head, he turned and gazed at the mound of snow behind him. his prey was buried under it, still partially fresh. perhaps.. ebon auds flicked back as kasdeya's voice sounded and he instantly turned around, holding back a relieved sigh. so she wasn't mad at him, although she had every right to. yes, she had stood up for him, but that didn't mean he was completely off the hook. he knew that - and her silence had been punishment worse than words, though it wasn't really punishment... it just felt like it. maw curling to a slight smile at her words, he felt his fur flatten and his tail wag. i'd be delighted to. he murmured, excitement undisguised within the burning amber depths of his eyes.
